David Farah (photo courtesy of the World Poker Tour)

David Farah is cruising in the chip lead once again, having a good level since the last blind increase.

Dan Buzgon opened for 900,000 on the button and David called from the small blind.  On the flop of both players checked.  The came on the turn and David bet 1.4 million.  Dan called.  The completed the board.

David bet 3.4 million.  Dan thought for a few seconds, then folded, leaving himself with only 9 million.  His was actually ahead of David’s , but David did not show the bluff, just smiled as he collected the pot.   That pot took him up to 18.5 million.

Then a short while later, the same two players tangled again.  David opened to 900,000 UTG and Dan called from the big blind.  They both checked the flop to get to the turn.  Dan bet 800,000 0n the scare card, only to get raised to 2.9 million by David.  Dan let it go and David chipped up to 21.6 million.

In this case it was a good fold, as Dan’s was drawing slim against David’s (top set).
