Darren Attebery wins Event #18, $23,763 and the “Tiny Borgata” scale model trophy. Prior to this, he had nearly $35,000 in tournament winnings, and this puts him closer to the $59,000 range. His previous best finish was fifth in a Heartland Poker Tour event back in 2010.
Darren tells us that he’s a “hustler” whose girlfriend lives with him. He has two children and plays poker in Kansas City. He says they have great poker out there. Darren said it was a tough, but pretty easy final table and he was glad to win. Congratulations to Darren!
In just a few short hours, Day 3 of the main event will begin, as well a $350 + $50, $100,000 Guaranteed Re-Entry event alongside it. Catch you on the flip side!
