Chris Tryba raised to 275,000 and Jorge Quiroz defended his big blind. They went heads up to the and Quiroz checked to Tryba who bet 350,000.
Quiroz check-raised to 1,000,000 and with the action back on Tryba he moved all in covering Quiroz who had 3,410,000. Quiroz called putting his tournament life at risk and the hands were shown.
Tryba showed top pair top kicker and to his surprise Quiroz was holding just five high and a gutshot straight draw. The turn improved Tryba to top two pair and he would only need to fade a three on the river.
The hit the river and the table erupted as Quiroz spiked his straight to double up and take the massive pot. Tryba was left with just 225,000 but he quickly battled back to over 2,000,000.
