The Ladies are down to the final two tables, but only the final 9 will get paid.
Beth Russo has moved into the chip lead with ~140,000, but she’s at a tough table. She’s got Tiffany Lee on her right, and Pat Knoll, Marguerite Spagnuolo, Jamie Giunta, and Jamie Kerstetter also sharing the same patch of felt.
Over the years, Beth has made two Ladies Event final tables and two additional Ladies Event cashes, so she’s got plenty of experience in this format.

Entries: 50
Ladies Remaining: 25
Average Stack: 40,000
Ladies are back from their second break and registration has closed with an even 50 entrants.
Tiffany Lee is the current chip leader with 119,000. She finished 2nd in a WSOP Circuit Ladies Event in March of last year ($1,683), then went on to the World Series of Poker last summer and made the final table of the Ladies event. Her 7th place finish in that event earned her $15,760, which is her best live cash.

Level 6: Blinds 200/400/50 ante
Entries: 47
One nice thing about the Ladies Event is that they don’t all take it quite so seriously and can have fun and play at the same time.
Natalie Bereznyak and Yvette Weems are enjoying their time at the table. They can socialize and enjoy playing the game at the same time.

We’ve got several Ladies Event winners in action today, but Dawn Wilno’s probably got more Ladies Event final tables than all the others combined.
Dawn won the Ladies Event at the 2010 WSOP Circuit in Atlantic City and has also had much success here at Borgata. She’s made eight Ladies event final tables, but has yet to take home a Borgata trophy. She celebrated her Birthday last week, so a shiny Borgata Open trophy would make a nice birthday present!
$200+$30 Deeper Stack NLH
$30,000 Guaranteed
Level 2: Blinds 75/150
Last Winter, the Deeper Stack drew 313 runners and created a prize pool of more than $60,000. They played until about 4am to reach the final two players, who agreed on an adjusted payout. Victor Paulino took 1st place and $14,396.
Today’s event is starting an hour later and also has to contend with the NFL Conference Championship games, but there’s a $30,000 Guarantee on total buy-ins, so that should help bring out a crowd.
