2017 WPO Saturday Series – Final Five: Jason Cohen, Paul Nguyen, John Wrobleski, Phil Rousseax and Jeff Peters (seated)
One year ago during the 2017 Winter Poker Open, Phuoc ‘Paul’ Nguyen came out on top of a field of 662 runners to take 1st place and $33,371 (adjusted payout).
Last week’s Saturday Series event drew a massive 812 entries and created a prize pool nearly triple the guarantee. The final eight players made an adjusted payout agreement that resulted in Ross Gottlieb getting the win and $28,433.
How many will turn out for today’s event? With five trophy events running concurrently in the Event Center, there’s no telling how large this field will get.

Level 1: Blinds 50/100
The second Saturday of the Winter Poker Open is going to be just as busy as the first one was. As always, the Saturday Series Deep Stack NLH event leads off the day.
This one-day trophy event gives players 25,000 chips to start and all levels are 30 minutes long. Late registration and unlimited re-entries are available until the start of Level 11, about 4:45pm. This is a one-day event, so they will play until a winner is determined.
