Back on Will’s table with Palma still Unthrilled over the bluff, Vivian Saliba, her 888 patch clearly affixed, just blew a cbet past the small blind. Easy game.
Meanwhile, and interesting situation had developed on ten, where Jerry Maher was facing a small shove of 14,200 from Grant Simmons. On , Grant had accidentally exposed a black three, having opened from under the gun?
What could he have, Jerry had pondered. Not much, was the answer, and from the button made the call with ace rag.
Grant, of course, had pocket threes, and got the easy double from the vexed English player.
Not satisfied with the double, Grant then asked Jerry what he could possibly have. “The other card had to be an ace, right?”
Then, in the the next hand, Grant got in a nice value bet against Jerry with a pair, weak kicker. This did not help the Englishman’s mood.

After two bad calls, Jerry gave a beautiful English hand signal to the poker world and nursed his Bud Light.
Meanwhile, John Lytle continues to crush, despite all that folding.

Akash Seth took the Six Max chip lead early on and he is showing no signs of slowing down. Seth continues to climb the chip counts and for now he is still holding strong at the top.
Josias Santos just won a preflop raising war against Seth but his back stack barely took a hit and he is still sitting behind a mountain of about 270,000.
John Lytle is quickly gaining ground and he is right on Seth’s heels with about 260,000.

“Yeah, I’m bluffing for the first time ever against you after how many years” Failla responds. “I feel like I’m going to make a bad fold” Palma says and tosses his hand face down into the muck.
“I’m a man of my word and I said I’d show you so I will” Failla says turning over confirming Palma’s suspicions that he was indeed bluffing and Failla takes the pot.

“He followed me down to Noodles of the World and sat by me. I told him I was going to get him.”
Not a good a sign for Viet Vo, and on the river against May Siu, he once again paid the price against his familiar competitor.
On a paired, flushing board, Viet faced an all in shove by Siu. After about a minute of thinking, he tossed in the chip.
Bad news, just the second nuts. As she gathered in the pot and her doubled to 70,000, May explained their history.
“This guy has tried to bluff me 150 times. One hundred and forty nine have not worked.”
Well, he called this time, and not with nothing – another player forced him to expose his middling flush, but it still wasn’t enough.
“Why the ace of hearts?!” Vo lamented.
“I told him I was going to beat him, he never listens!” May exclaimed.
Vo is still healthy with 50,000, though, and will likely keep trying.
Meanwhile, we are in the middle stage of the tournament now – Registration is officially closed.
