Paul Lambrakis (pictured) was trending below the chip average in the last few levels but is back up among the chip leaders with a few minutes left in Day 2. Lambrakis got there against Hop Lay and is near 14 million as a result.
Lay opened to 650,000 in early position and Lambrakis called in the hijack. The flop checked to Lambrakis and he bet 700,000. Lay shoved for 3,400,000 and Lambrakis flipped a chip in to call.
Lay’s had been outflopped by the
of Lambrakis and he needed help to survive. The turn and river bricked and Lambrakis took the huge pot.
Lambrakis eliminated James McKinnon a few minutes before he busted Lay. McKinnon was all-in with pocket queens and Lambrakis had a pair of tens that turned into a set.
With only a few minutes left in the night, Lambrakis is near the chip lead. A full recap of the day’s action will be posted once play ends for the night.

Only one Borgata Champions Club Member remains in the Almighty Million with Sam Taylor now on the rail. Ken Golden (pictured) got there to eliminate Taylor for most of his own stack.
Taylor shoved for 3,200,000 on the button with a dead small blind with Golden in the big. Golden thought for a moment and called with . Taylor was ahead with
and had to fade minimal outs to double. The
flop put a sweat in play and the
turn created chop-portunites for Golden to go with the flush draw.
Golden didn’t need them thanks to the river and Taylor spun away from the table to collect his payout slip. Golden chips up to 7,800,000 with less than 30 minutes remaining in the night. Chris Leong is the last BPO Main Event winner. Only 46 total players remain.

Policastro took a pot from Ben Beahm to get himself over the hump. With the board reading , Policastro checked the small blind and Ben Beahm bet 800,000 into a pot of about 1,200,000. The bet was matched and both players checked the
turn. Policastro bet 1,100,000 on the
river and Beahm put in calling chips. The
of Policastro was good and he took the pot. Beahm is sitting with 3,400,000. The updated leaderboard is below.

James McKinnon (pictured) has been near his Borgata six-figure breakthrough for a few years. He’s came close to winning the seven-figure guarantee lotteries before and near the end of Day 2, is inching closer once again. In the span of two hands, McKinnon grew his stack to over seven million.
Mike Policastro opened the cutoff to 220,000 and McKinnon defended his big blind. McKinnon check-called for 260,000 on the flop and then 575,000 on the
turn. The
river led McKinnon to lead out for what looked to be 1,050,000. Policastro folded and McKinnon took in the pot.
The next hand, Pascal Pflock raised the cutoff to 215,000 and was met with a three-bet to 750,000 from McKinnon. Pflock conceded and McKinnon took in another.
McKinnon is playing 7,200,000 at a tough table that included big stacks Pflock (12,300,000), Policastro (9,900,000), and Ben Beahm (7,500,000)
