Both players check the on the turn. The river brings the
, DiZenzo checks, and Reddick bets 40,000. DiZenzo thinks shortly, then calls for most of his stack. Reddick mucks, and DiZenzo takes the pot without having to show.

Wade Meacham’s won a flip against the player on his right, who had pocket 5s. The board came A J T 2 8 and Wade took the pot, chipping up to ~225,000.
Wade’s got two Borgata Open series wins to his credit. He won the 2017 Winter Poker Open $260 DeepStack NLH event for more than $33,000, then later that year, he won the Spring Open Super Stack Elevator event for $17,000 (adjusted payout).

The two Ladies on table 10 clashed, resulting in Kathy Liebert heading for the exit. April Motola had and apparently made a back-door flush to take the pot. She doubled up to about 165,000.
Kathy thought she was felted and was out the door before the dealer determined she still had 3,000 left. She’ll be blinded off if she doesn’t return. Most likely she’ll be registering for the 4pm flight which will start soon.

On 58, Andre Martin bet the 6600 in position, getting a call from Agenor Souza.
The went check check, opening up the door to river aggression from Souza. On the
Souza seized the initiative with a small 8500 lead, but Martin still didn’t like it, slamming his cards into felt.
Every chip matters on a table with no big stacks.
A limp pot was created next, no one wanting to put too much in.
The second limper, Tomas Terran bet a very dry from the field. It’s entirely possible, given conditions, that he could have limped a hand as strong as a decent or suited ace, or maybe even two fives. The blinds folded and the first limper called.
A filled a less likely hand for the EP limpers, the gutterball, but Terran again fired, a full 25,000.
His opponent did not like it and folded, indicating he did have a bluffcatcher.
“I figured that I’d have to call another bet on the river, too,” which he clearly didn’t want to do.
Terran moves to 145,000.
While no crushing chip leader has emerged, several stacks above 300,000 are around, and here’s one:

John Diolosa flipped up his cards, wanting to rip them, it seemed, then mucked, while A. Nonymous turned over the aces, despite his 75,000 value bet into Diolosa going uncalled.
Just aces. “I’ve had them four time today.”
Everyone is surely happy for him.
Diolosa gets another chance, this time opening and picking up Trevor Jones in the small. Bets go in on , a
goes check-check, and then more madness.
The river brings an , as well as a tempting, one red chip lead from Jones. Diolosa is beside himself, flipping a very dodgy
in his hand before announcing “donation.”
Jones has for the straight and moves up to 122,000. More frustration.

Cathy Dever opened and fired 3,000 into the button Joe Ulm on , a natural enough bet.
However, her second barrel 8,000 on the was more interesting. As the ten will hit Ulm more often than her, she is rapidly polarizing herself to an extremely strong hand or a miss.
Ulm hesitated, made a big sigh, and then called.
On a blank river, Cathy put in a small 11,000, attempting to look like a thin value bet. Cathy is representing exactly a good or air now.
However, the dangers of betting someone elses’ card were brought to fruition. Realizing how strong she had repped on the turn and now a little cautious, Ulm only called with trips, 9x].
It didn’t matter. Cathy mucked her cards instantly, likely a that had come up empty.
Joe moves up toward 190,000, and Cathy is on fumes.
In the next hand, Liz McKane got a three bet through, then a big one erupted with Ulm again at the center of the action.
Larry O’Halloran limped from EP. Ulm raised, and McKane came along, then the button raised. Wayne Harmon then stuck in four bet SB. Harmon overcalled, which brought along everyone else but McKane.
The flop came. Harmon led 11,000 into the near 20,000, O’Halloran folded. Ulm in fact is the only one in the field who calls.
The board pairs the , and this time the preflop aggressor Harmon checks, and Ulm bets a small 10,000 into the 40,000. What’s going on?

Ulm, foreground left, reckons with a table full of fight, here against a three bet followed by the cold 4.
Even more curious, Haromon now check raises tiny to 22,000, and Ulm flats.
The arrives on the river, filling Ulm’s perceived top pairs but shutting out his draws. All over pairs belong to Harmon, who also has nearly no fives in his range.
He sagely checks, allowing Ulm to bet. They are dinging each other small at this table, and this river bet is no different: 25,000.
Harmon is exasperated. He must have decided Ulm has few bluffs in this range at that sizing, whispers his hand to a table mate, and lets it go.
A tough way to end the hand for what looks like a premium holding.
Meanwhile, Ulm is rising on 68, now well past 200,000.

Last summer, Gary Kosakowski battled his way back from a 4:1 chip deficit to beat Anna Antimony heads-up in the Pot Limit Omaha event. He collected his first Borgata trophy and $9,000 (adjusted payout).

So far this Winter Open, Gary’s been ‘cooler’ and has yet to cash, but he’s back on the felt today in the Almighty Million grinding away.
