The two big stacks clashed at the final table. Gina Saladino and Vivian Leslie were looking at a board of A T 7 5 8 and a big pot, but they both checked the river. Vivian had AQ for top pair, but Gina had A5 for two pair to take the pot.
With that hand, they essentially reversed their chip positions, with Gina taking the lead with 300,000. Leslie dropped to about 200,000.
Dawn Lucarelli waited patiently and finally got her last chips in holding AK, but ran into Vivian’s pocket Aces. She got no help from the board and was busted on the stone-cold bubble. That pot took Vivian’s stack back up to ~300,000.
Dawn is married to everybody’s favorite runner-up, Steve Dannenmann, and they have recently become the proud parents of twins!

One short-stacked lady got all-in holding {ac}{5s} and ran into Gina Saladino’s {ah}{kc}. The board missed everyone and Gina took the pot, chipping up to about 160,000.
Then another lady got all-in holding {ac}{qh} and Gina looked her up with {ad}{td}. A Ten on the flop was all Gina needed to send another lady to the rail.
Gina is up to ~200,000, good for second behind Vivian Leslie, who’s got more than 300,000.
They’re down to ten ladies now at a single table, which means it is bubble-time!

End of level 17 and the Ladies are off on a one-hour dinner break. Play will resume at 7:45pm.
Shortly before the end of level 17, Sarah Wasch came out on the losing end of an all-in confrontation and was almost out the door when they realized she still had 700 chips left.
They called her back to the table to continue playing and she went all-in blind on the next hand, flopped two pair, and quadrupled up. She asked the dealer to “hurry up” so she could lose the last of her chips before the dinner break.
As it turned out, that’s what happened on the last hand of the level. Her last chips gravitated over to the big stack of Vivain Leslie and Sarah was out in 17th place.

Vivian Leslie (Washington, DC) is the chip leader with nearly 220,000. She cashed in the Almighty Million event during the 2015 Borgata Poker Open and is well on her way to a big score here tonight. She makes her living as a Registered Nurse.

Larry Gold got his last 193,000 in the middle holding pocket Kings and ran into the pocket Aces of big-stack Mickey Woll. Another player let us know that he folded a King, so the King that came on the river to save Larry’s tournament life was the case King.
That one-out save brought Larry’s stack up to about 360,000 while Mickey’s stack dropped to ~500,000.
James Lillis thought he snapped off a bluff when he called a shove holding A9. He was ahead of his opponent’s K8, but an 8 on the turn gave his opponent a pair and the last of James’ chips.
James finished in 29th place, earning $1,065.

Players have just returned from a break, but before the break, Stephanie Hubbard took a bad beat and surrendered the chip lead.
James Lillis, sitting to her right, and one other player got involved on the hand. Stephanie had pocket Queens and was facing A9 and James’ AT. James rivered a four-card straight to double-up to about 530,000.
Stephanie’s stack dropped to roughly 400,000.

Blinds have moved up for level 20, but just before the end of level 19:
On a K J 8 flop, the player in the small blind got all-in against Stephanie Hubbard (middle position). Stephanie’s KQ offsuit (top pair) was in trouble against his pocket Jacks (middle set). Then a Ten on the turn and an Ace on the river gave Stephanie Broadway and another big pot while felting her opponent.
Stephanie, who is suddenly on a heater, has chipped up to ~875,000 (87.5 big blinds) and taken the chip lead.
She’s also just collected her second bounty!
