We are down to 4 here in Event 16 as we say goodbye to Nate Bjerno in 5th place. Bjerno came into the table as a short stack and managed to double up and make a pay jump, as he takes home $18,042. In the final hand John Holley opened from under the gun with a raise to 55,000 and was immediately three-bet by Brandon Setzer. Nate Bjerno announced all in on the button for his last 600,000 and change and it would fold back to Setzer who would make the call.
Setzer: {Qh}{Qs}
Bjerno: {Ad}{Ks}
The board would run out {8h}{3s}{3h}{6s}{9h} and Bjerno would hit the rail in 5th as Setzer regains the chip lead.

Brandon Setzer opened from under the gun with a raise to 55,000 and action would fold through to Jared Jaffee in the small blind. Jaffee elected to three-bet to 120,000 and John Holley would quickly fold out of the big blind.
Setzer asked Jaffee how much he started the hand with before going into the tank, eventually announcing all in. Jaffee almost beat him into the middle with his chips and tabled {Ah}{Ac}.
Setzer just shrugged and flipped over {3c}{3s}.
The board would run out {4s}{7h}{9c}{8h}{9h} and Jaffee would double to 1,400,000 while Setzer falls back to 1,300,000.

Sam Taylor – 1,180,000
Jared Jaffee – 700,000

Moments after doubling up John Holley when his {8x}{8x} couldn’t improve against the {Qx}{Qx} of Holley, Alex Condon was left with only 30,000 in chips. He found the last of them in the middle and his {8x}{6x} couldn’t improve against his opponents {Ax}{7x}.
Condon will take home $13,231 for his deep run here in Event 17, which will put him over $700,000 lifetime.
Level 22 (Blinds 8,000/16,000/2,000)

Action folded around to Sam Taylor in the cut-off who opened the action with a raise to 39,000 and Jared Jaffee called on the button. The two saw the dealer spread the flop of {9h}{2c}{10s} and Taylor would fire a continuation bet of 35,000. Jaffee grabbed some of the mint green t25,000 chips and put in a raise to 110,000. Taylor wasted very little time in pulling his bet back and putting in a four bet to 220,000. Jaffee would think about the decision for a few minutes before releasing his hand into the muck.
Taylor now sits with around 700,000 while Jaffee drops back to 1,300,000.

Having a bad table draw can make for a long day and nobody currently knows that better than James Woods. Woods came up to us while a hand was going on at his table to talk about how tough it has been having Roland Israelashvili 2 seats on his left. Israelashvili has over $2,300,000 in earnings and is a very active player at the table, making it tough on anyone that has the displeasure of sitting on his right. While there haven’t been any fireworks between the two yet, it definitely is a dynamic we will keep an eye on over the next couple of hours.
Woods is currently sitting on a stack of a little more than 55,000 while Israelashvili is nursing a shorter stack of around 25,000.
