The Event 13 Six Max money bubble has just burst and we are down to the final 30. Leading the way is Joe Brand with 512,200. His pocket aces held up late in the night against ace king and he never looked backed.
Javier Zarco is right on his heels with 480,000 and Vincent Chiarrocchi rounds out the top three stacks with 440,400. Chiarrocchi also wanted to give a special blog shout out to his poker coach Bert Riddle who has helped him hone his skills as of late.
Day 2 play will resume on Saturday January 27 at 12 P.M. noon and there will be 34:39 remaining at the 2,000/4,000/400 blind level.
The players are now all guaranteed at least $1,624 and they will be playing down to a winner. The last man standing will earn the $69,011 first prize along with Borgata Winter Poker Open trophy.
