Event 20 the $2,000+$100 Second Chance Semi Turbo NLH Event gave players who busted out of the BWPO WPT Championship a second chance to earn a great payday. “I fired a few bullets in the Main Event” Brandon Mueller says but he now leaves the Event Center with a smile on his face and his first BPO title.
Mueller got off to a fast start at the final table and took a massive chip lead when his aces ran over the ace king of Joe Palma. With just three players remaining he was holding nearly sixty percent of the chips in the play. They agreed to stop the clock and discuss an adjusted payout deal and after some time an agreement was struck.
Mueller will be taking home $26,081 and the title and this is his largest live career tournament score. “I’m not a poker pro” he tells us but we never would have know that was the case with the performance he put on at tonight’s final table.
