The Charity Series of Poker has raised tens of thousands of dollars for various causes in its run of events. Its founder, Matt Stout, has been at the forefront of these causes and campaigned for both them and the CSOP since first establishing the non-profit in 2014.
Stout’s career at The Borgata has been marked by close calls in events, with two runner-up finishes to his name. For all of the good he has done for the charities that CSOP represents, it only seems right that Stout finally earn his Mini-Borgata trophy in an event that he hosted. The real winner tonight is the Support The Kid foundation, which has over $11,000 raised for it thanks to all who played in tonight’s event. The CSOP comes around once a year and has increased attendance each year.
The CSOP comes around once a year and has increased attendance each time. We expect nothing less in 2018.
