$300+40 Pot Limit Omaha High/Low
Level 23: Blinds 20,000/40,000
Peter Ippolito was clawing his way back into contention, then got all-in on a board of A 7 3 A 8. Matthew Shoup had KJ42 for the nut low and King-high kicker to the board. Peter had J542 for the same nut low and got quartered. After that pot, he was down to 360,000, leaving Matthew with 1,275,000.
Then on a flop of K J 2, all his chips went in holding A 9 5 4 for not much. Matthew snapped with KJT9 for top two pair. The board completed 9 6 making no low possible. Matthew’s two pair was good for the pot and the win.
Peter Ippolito finished in 2nd place, earning $5,234. This will push his lifetime earnings over $640,000, but he’s still missing a Borgata title on his poker resume.
