Soon after, Blad opened from middle postion, finding resistence from Abdel Jo and Jason Rosengarten, checked the {td} {3h} {9s}.
Rosengarten, in position, checked as well.
On the turn {4h} Adel Jo checked from the blind, Blad followed suit, and now Rosengarten bet 85,000.
Jo called, and now Blad needed clarification on the bet. He found a call, and the river checked through on the {jh}.
“I have a straight!” Blad announced. And to everyone’s surprise, he turned over {kx}{qx}.
“The heart stopped me,” he explained.
Immediately afterward, Jo busted in eighth for $6,993, a terrific run.
