Andrew Klein fell one card short of grabbing a Borgata Poker Open title in consecutive series. Losing your chance at winning a title when your so close is disappointing, but losing it by being counterfeited on the river is just down right cruel.
But Andrew took the loss in stride, offered a sincere congratulations to his opponent and went to the cage to collect his winnings.
This is Andrew’s 3rd cash in this years WPO series. The first was in Event #1 Borgata $2 Million where he finished 341st and his second cash was Event 12 where he took 6th. His three cashes now total $24,866.
Klein won his first Borgata title last November in Event #3 $450 Black Chip bounty for $23,007 and his claim to be the “best poker playing athlete in the world” still holds, as no poker player has yet to step up to take him on his in ‘Athletic Decathlon Challenge’.
